“Origami” selected for the 97th Academy Awards Shortlist in the Animated Short Film category

Origami has been selected as one of 15 shortlisted films for the 97th Academy Awards Animated Short Film category.
From 88 eligible works—including the four winners of this year’s Student Academy Awards—the Academy announced the shortlist on December 17. For Oscar eligibility, a film must either complete a one-week paid theatrical run in the Los Angeles area or win at an Academy-qualified festival, a category that includes many festivals worldwide as well as the Student Academy Awards. Academy members will vote between January 8–12, 2025 to narrow the list to five nominees, with all nominations announced on January 17.

『Origami』第97回アカデミー賞短編アニメーション部門ショートリストに選出

『Origami』が、第97回アカデミー賞短編アニメーション部門のショートリスト15作品の一つに選ばれました。今年は、学生アカデミー賞受賞4作品を含む88作品が選考対象となり、12月17日にショートリストが発表されました。選考対象となるには、ロサンゼルス地区で7日以上の有料上映を行うか、アカデミー公認映画祭で受賞する必要があり、学生アカデミー賞もその一つとされます。 1月8〜12日の投票でノミネート5作品が選ばれ、1月17日に発表されます。
