Screening: ORIGAMI — Tokyo Deaflympics Event at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Building

To celebrate the first-ever Deaflympics held in Japan and the 100th anniversary of the event, a special exhibition highlighting the harmony between Japanese culture and sign language took place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Building. As part of the “50 Days to the Tokyo Deaflympics” promotional event, Origami was screened alongside exhibits by the Japan Origami Association and the University of Tokyo’s origami club, Orist.

日本初開催となるデフリンピックの100周年を記念し、手話と日本文化が融合したコラボレーションイベントが東京都議会議事堂で行われました。開幕50日前PRイベントとして開催された本展示にて、日本折紙協会、東京大学折紙サークル Orist の展示とともに、『Origami』を上映していただきました。
