Screening: ORIGAMI — Tokyo Deaflympics Event at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Building

To mark the first Deaflympics held in Japan and the event’s 100th anniversary, a special exhibition on the harmony between Japanese culture and sign language was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Building. As part of the “50 Days to the Tokyo Deaflympics” promotional event, Origami was screened alongside exhibits by the Nippon Origami Association and Orist, the University of Tokyo’s origami club.

日本初開催、そして100周年を迎えるデフリンピックを記念し、手話と日本文化の融合をテーマにしたコラボレーションイベントが東京都議会議事堂で行われました。開幕50日前のPRイベントとして開催された本展示にて、日本折紙協会、東京大学折紙サークル Orist の展示とともに、『Origami』を上映していただきました。
