Mai / 舞CGI Animated Short Film

A CGI-animated short exploring the fusion of calligraphy and fluid simulation. Ink flows from the brush like a graceful liquid, forming the character “舞 (Mai)” as it reacts to the movement of each stroke. By blending the gestures of semi-cursive calligraphy with dynamic fluid motion, the film presents a new visual interpretation of the elegance of traditional brushwork.

書道とCG流体シミュレーションを融合させた表現に挑戦したCG作品。筆から流れ出す墨が美しい流体として広がり、筆の動きに合わせて「舞」の文字が形成されていく。行書の流れる筆致と、墨の流体的な動きを組み合わせ、伝統的な書の美しさを新たな映像表現として描き出した。
